I’m Martijn, an implementation consultant at Gorilla Services, a monday.com platinum partner, based in The Netherlands. Really looking forward to “nerd-out” about eliminating as much manual work as possible! As it is very common for IT-solutions to kind of stop the support of extending features at some point, I feel like I’ve finally found the right place where (almost) everything will be possible with all these abilities to add custom logic.

Currently I’m finding out more and more about the integration/automation-recipes, Apps and dashboard-widgets. This is what personally exites me alot and I’d love to discuss this and underlying topics with the community.

On a more personal level, I have two very enthusiastic (read: tiring! ) daughters and all the time I have left after working on Monday and spending time with my family, I take out my bike for a ride as much as I can.

Great to read through the intros! 

A bit about myself, I’m a proud father of 2 minions, a motorbike and a few guitars. I was raised in Canada, France and the UK and currently reside in the beautiful frozen north! Lastly, and arguably most importantly, my favourite food is cookies dunked in coffee… that’s right, I’m a confessed cookie/biscuit dunker.

Professionally, I’ve been an IT Consultant for the best part of 4 years, specializing in Monday automation and integration as well as the other side of the spectrum in IT infrastructure architecture. I’ve been fortunate to experience Enterprise through being a trainer and facilitator at Apple, to the SMB in a growth spurt at Benevity and now wearing the Consultant’s shoes.

Monday specific, I’ve had the opportunity to come up with, and implement a multitude of solutions for clients and continue to do so with a few packaged solutions around Finance, Legal and ITSM. I’ve also recently started a YouTube channel (MyAutomationTips) sharing some quick tutorials and going over some features and solutions in more depth.
