“In this video, I demonstrate a useful use case of automatically importing a CSV file into monday.com, for example from system which don't support our API, but have the capability to automatically create a CSV with new data every period of time.

This is done using integromat (make) scenario, and of course can be changed according to the format of the CSV, the folder it resides in, and your board structure.”

 

 

Thank you @Kylie for the video. It is very useful. In this case while using integromat do we still have limitations on the column type or it works with all the columns (like Dropdown)?

Hey @Hasmik Makaryan, because this Integromat scenario uses our API behind the scenes (in the last action), the limitations are those of the monday API. This means that most columns are supported as per our API reference documentation here. Now the example shared in this tutorial does not cover an exhaustive list of supported columns, so the presented scenario would have to be tailored per the customer needs. Thanks!

Sorry to reply to an old thread, but I found this very useful but have an additional question. I am using this to upload nightly snapshots of our systems, the issue I am having is that I can not find a way to update or add new items only. If an item already exists it will duplicate it, is there a way to stop it from doing this?
